Alfons Haar Maschinenbau takes part in "The Long Night of Industry"
Hamburg, November 10, 2018 - Alfons Haar Maschinenbau participated in the event "The Long Night of Industry" ("Die Lange Nacht der Industrie") which took place for the ninth time on November 8, 2018.
The event was established in 2008 and over 600 companies with around 68,000 participants in 11 regions across Germany have taken part in it so far. The goal is to bring industrial companies and the people in their region in contact with each other. By granting a look behind the scenes, various industry sectors come alive and become more tangible to the public.
About one hundred interested visitors, divided into groups, were brought to our door. We welcomed the first group at around 6pm in one of our assembly halls. After a short company presentation and a discussion of our job and training opportunities, our visitors enjoyed a tour of the production facilities. This included live demonstrations from both our industry sectors: metal packaging machines and fuel transport technology.
We very much enjoyed engaging with our guests and receiving the opportunity to highlight the experience, knowledge and innovative force at Alfons Haar Maschinenbau.
